Argument Opinion

I feel that Monroe Anderson “It’s Time to Legalize Marijuana”is very opinionated and one-sided. He only expresses one point of view. He does not state any facts to persuade you, he just basically tells you to agree with him. He targets only the young urban audience, which goes against him in his argument. Most yung people are already convinced that marijuana should be legal. However, They are not the ones that need to be convinced.

I think that if Anderson had given more facts to support his argument, and written it to a more corporate audience on a prfessional level he would have had a more successful argument.

I never knew what YouTube was before this assignment. Now that I know what it is I still do not care for it at all. However, Tim Wu does provide a strong and convincing argument. He does not tell you what to think, but provides you with truthful information to persuade on what to think. Although he used all of this truthful information, he did not grasp my attention. He targeted a more business and professional audience.

Seeing as how I did not have any interest in Wu’s article, I will probably be writing about Anderson’s marijuana article. Although it is very opinionated it still kept my attention throughout the article.
